I have some quibbles with the look, but with that interior and those numbers this thing is going to be the bargain of the century. I’m genuinely in shock that it’s under $60k.

That's not a Corvette any more.

Doesn’t work for me. Darn

It was working earlier, but I guess they couldn’t handle everyone going on at once. I’m thankful I saw what I did.

Brown is one of the e xterior colors, Oppo has infected GM.

It’s an American made sp orts car with a 6.2L pushrod V8 under the (rear) hood. What are you on about?
What else could it be? It sure as shit ain’t a Mustang.

I was hoping they’d troll the world [Ralph Nader] and unveil the 2020 Corvair with a turbocharged flat six.
America.
Fuck yeah.

Cloth + glass roof? That seems like a decent throwback.

Someone needs to introduce GM to Amazon Web Services.

A Corvette with the engine in the trunk? Nope.

It's a generic supercar. Yawn.

I heart BM2

I'm still not seeing the problem. Some cars are known for their engine placement. If Toyota made a new MR2 with the engine in the front, ditto for a Porsche 911. That would feel wrong. But to me, the Corvette wasnt really known for having the engine in the front, that's just where it happened to be. So if they want to move it behind the driver, I've got no problem with it.

How does that not make it a Corvette? It’s a sportscar for the blue pill generation.
And it costs less than $60k. Pretty damn good for a supercar.

...what...

Just played around with it. Looks like they’re getting TONS of traffic very laggy and bugg y.
Also watched a few videos and I definitely like it more with the roof down vs roof up.

Drive the new Porsche 911 Hoodster, with the engine moved to the front of the car!
Whatever. I’ll never own one.

Not Murican. Front engine, rear drive is Murican.
My opinion is irrelevant, however, since I’ll never own one and haven’t driven a Corvette since I drove an 80s model in 1990.

Weird. I once owned a rear engined rear wheel drive car that was very American.

The difference is that the Porsche 911 is known for having that engine in the rear. The Corvette isn't known for the front engine. That's just where it used to be.

Meh. Give me the Cadillac CTS-V.
